SOCCER CLUB
Who Are We?

Our philosophy and playing style are unique. We emphasize developing our players in soccer and also as people. We focus on technical skills and soccer intelligence rather than just athleticism. Our playing style of possession is the benchmark for our programs, in which we are recognized by college coaches across the country. Many of our coaches grew up in our community and played for Lamorinda. They bring extensive experience and have proven the success of LaMO by playing at some of the best colleges and beyond.

What Do We Do?

We provide different platforms to meet the needs of our players in our community and beyond. We create a very challenging training environment for players to grow. We are honest with our players in terms of what it takes to reach their potential. We believe better coaches = better players = better soccer.

LaMO U5-U10 Recreational Program:

Lamorinda Soccer Club offers a Fall U5-U10 Recreational Program that focuses on creating a fun, enjoyable learning environment for all soccer players. During this crucial phase of player development, our goal is to show the kids how to enjoy playing the beautiful game and share our passion for the game with them. LaMO Recreational Program is about the development of young players in athletics and as a person. Lamorinda Soccer Club recognizes that players in younger age groups enjoy other sports and hobbies; we understand and accept players who have commitments to other sports and hobbies at this age.

Coaching/Training: The training curriculum is designed and implemented by the LaMO technical coordinator of the Fall Recreational Program. Parents have the opportunity to participate by helping with training sessions during the season. Training Program/Schedule: U5-U10 Training begins in the middle of August and concludes third week of November. LaMO coaches will be running the training sessions with the help of parent volunteers.
